I am passionate about helping young people get the most out of their education. I will work with you and your child to find common ground, relate their studies to things that interest and engage them, and hopefully be that one to one person who makes things "click" for them. Working within a class suits a lot of children, but isn't always the best approach for everyone. Asking questions is a lot easier when you are in a safe one to one environment. Whether you need someone to sit with your child while they do their homework, work on extra examples to deepen their understanding so they enjoy class time more, or work towards an entrance or 11 plus exam I can help. I have worked in and out of schools since I gained my degree. I am married with a teenage daughter. Outside of work I love being outdoors, walking, gardening and on my paddleboard. I have a first class BaHons in Fashion and Textiles as this was my passion as a teenager and worked for many years as a clothing buyer. I loved school and gained 4 a levels (AABB) and 11 GCSES (a*/a). Unlike many parents I loved homeschooling my daughter during covid and it made me realise that tutoring was going to be in my future

Hi I’m Mahnoor! I am a qualified English teacher with years of experience both in tutoring and school teaching. I teach: Primary School KS1/KS2: English Secondary/High School GCSE: English Language (GCSE), English Literature (GCSE), Urdu and Law College A-level: Law Experience with: -KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 - English England Curriculum -Students with disabilities/special needs (SEND) -ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia/ODD Languages: English, Urdu, and Punjabi No two children are the same, so a big part of my approach towards tutoring is to adapt each lesson towards that student’s needs in order to achieve their full potential. Why learn with me? I love to deliver lessons tailored to each student that are fun as well as engaging and I encourage students to interact as much as possible. I believe it’s important to make sure students are practicing what they’re taught or revising in their spare time and I am their biggest cheer leader to push them to meet targets! I have plenty of resources for activities, worksheets, homework and especially exam revision! As well as remaining friendly and an approachable person, I also strongly believe in creating and maintaining a professional relationship as a tutor. When I am not tutoring, I like to spend my time with my family, friends and most importantly- my daughter! During my downtime, I enjoy reading, painting and trying out new cooking recipes! I’ve studied a wide range of subjects from a young age! I did my Undergraduate bachelor degree in Law (LLB) and then went on to complete my Postgraduate Masters in Law (LLM) too. After some experience in the legal sector I realised I wanted to go towards a career in teaching as that’s what I’ve always loved the most! That led me to complete my teaching qualification (PGCE) where I additionally specialised in English and worked with primary and secondary school GCSE students. Along with teaching a variety of subjects, I aim to work with students professionally and motivate them to discuss career opportunities and specialisms. Whether it’s teaching Law, Urdu, Primary Education or English- I haven’t looked back since!

I am 24 years old. I am from Dingle, the heart of the Ghaeltacht of Corca Dhuibhne. I learned my Irish growing up here. I am a fluent Irish speaker and from the age of 3, I was emmersed in the Irish language, and under took all my schooling through Irish. (Yes, Maths, Biology, everything! I still do Maths in my head in Irish as a result of this!) I tutor Irish with a big focus on examination results, and, having sat the Irish Leaving Cert and Junior Cert exams myself, have a deep understanding of them and how they are graded. In this way, I focus on building the confidence of the student by training them to answer the questions to attain maximum marks. I am also a very systematic person, and love to share my planning and strategic processes of breaking down questions and exams in order to simply them, so that the student can achieve the grade that they are capable of attaining. I, myself was terrible at maths at school, and trained myself through systems, recall and discipline to attain a H3 in higher level maths in the Leaving Cert. I really do believe that any student is capable of doing the same in the Irish exam if they have the right approach. I take this systematic approach to everything that I do, whether that be in my professional job with the IDA as a client advisor, or in sport, with running, football or basketball. My discipline in this approach has served me so well in my life to date, and I would love to share this with you through my tutoring. Elsewhere, I am well travelled, having spent a year living in New York City, working in sales, and another year studying in France. Thanks to this experience, I also speak French. I am a very enthusiastic person and I am very extroverted which helps students to feel at ease during our sessions. Thank you for reading! Mise le Meas, Niamh De Brún. I completed my Leaving Cert in 2019, attaining 533 points and a H1 (98%) in Irish. I completed a degree in Commerce and French in University College Cork. As part of this degree, I spent 1 year studying in Université Grenoble Alpes, learning and studying through French. I finished my degree with a first class honors in 2023.
