Hello there! Hope you are well. My name is Joshua Hailey and my pronouns are he/him. I have been an online tutor for over three years, and I hope this 'About Me' section gives you an insight into who I am and my teaching style. Before I go into more detail about who I am, I would urge you to read the reviews, (also on this page), from some of my current and past parents whose children I am teaching/have taught! These statements can help you make an informed decision and, (hopefully), choose me as your child's next tutor. I am an English Literature BA (Hons) graduate who studied at the University of Portsmouth. I also have a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Literature from the University of Leicester. With over three years tutoring experience, a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, I have challenged and supported students across all educational stages, including primary school pupils right up to A Level students! I want your child to succeed and I truly believe they can do this! My lessons are varied, fun, but get the work done! Education is not 'one size fits all', and online tutoring is the perfect example of this. My sessions will see your child grow from strength to strength, as they learn new concepts and methods of success in their respective subject. You will not find me simply reading off a screen for the entire lesson, but you can expect interactivity to drive every single lesson that I will (hopefully) have with your child! In addition to English tuition, I also offer Primary Maths, 11+ and History. I have experience supporting students in all these subjects, and have completed them to a GCSE/A Level standard (for more information on this, please see my 'Academic Background' section). In summary, I promise to adopt a customised learning plan and positive ethos for your child across all sessions. As the parent, you deserve to feel included in your child's progress. I will endeavour to regularly update you through messages, comprehensive written reports and periodic phone calls should you want them! Hi, im Lucas! I am a 22 years old and was born and raised in Manchester. I am currently in the 3rd year of studying medicine and really enjoy it! I have always been a science and history nerd since i was a kid, so it is no surprise that those are my favourite topics. My hobbies include studying history, calisthenics, poetry, travelling, and language learning. For secondary school, i went to North Chadderton school in Greater Manchester where i received 2 nines, 5 eights, two sevens, and a five (in Spanish). I also went to sixth form at North Chadderton, where i studied biology, chemistry, and physics, receiving 2 A's and B respectively.

I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

Hello, my name is Isabel (Belle) and I am an 18 year old first year medical student who loves to teach. I enjoy bringing my passion for studying into my lessons and using a range of teaching methods well tailored to the student to provide an enjoyable yet engaging experience. In primary school I did my 11+ alongside my SATS in year 6. I completed my GCSEs with high grades and got accepted to do A Level Bio, Chem and Psych. I am now doing premed and have completed Bio, Chem, Maths, Physics, Calculus, Anatomy, Psychology, Biochemistry subjects over the course of 2 semesters achieving 100% / close to 100% in all subjects.
