Hi, I'm Hannah, a 2nd year chemistry student. I like teaching and would love to help others reach their full potential in maths and sciences, creating an encouraging and supportive environment such that they can improve, achieve their goals and start to enjoy the subjects as much as I do. Aside from academics, I like hiking, reading and swimming. I have also started learning crochet and knitting. I am a 2nd year student at the University of York on the MChem Chemistry with a Year in Industry undergraduate course. Before that, I went to Chelmsford County High School for Girls where I did 10 GCSEs (English language, English literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, French, German and Geography, all grade 9), HPQ and FSMQ (both As). I continued there at sixth form, where I got As in German and EPQ and A*s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and started mentoring students.

Levels and subjects you teach: I can teach maths at A level and lower Exam boards experience: AQA , Edexcel Preferred student age group: GCSE/A Level I use my communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts in simple terms. My responsibility in my role, is to assist students when help is required. I have gained skills in time management and teamwork. Also I have experienced professionalism and have had to be flexible and resilient to complete a given task. Dedicated, third year Mathematics student at Queen Mary University of London. Having achieved such excellent grades at GCSE and A level, I now move with care and passion in my studies, allowing myself to be prepared for upcoming challenges I may face, ensuring that I always perform to the best of my ability.

Hey! I’m Syeda and I am currently in my a placement year studying Law at the University of Liverpool. I have experience tutoring English. My approach to tutoring is to be patient, adaptable and help students feel comfortable whilst achieving set goals. I look forward to working alongside some amazing students! Law: B Psychology: B Applied Science: Merit Currently going into my third year of Law LLB at the University of Liverpool. I has acheived; A 2:1 in my first year and a, First in my second year. I have had 2 years of experience of tutoring English to students in KS3 where I delivered personalised sessions focusing on literature analysis, essay writing and exam technique. I have an abundance of Law work experience opportunities/ internships which have allowed me to develop many transferable skills including communication skills, adaptability and networking. I also have 4+ years of experience working in Starbucks as a barista which has allowed me thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. This has also allowed me to strengthen communication skills through continuous customer interactions.

As an ambitious and creative individual, I love sport and theatre and I am currently studying on a musical theatre foundation year at Italia Conti!
