I have a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages: English/French with a module in Classical Greek Language and Literature. I believe in stress-free lessons , and learning in a relaxed setting. I'm a dedicated tutor with genuine enthusiasm for helping students excel in English, Maths, and Italian. Having completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels in England and currently studying at the University of Bristol, I understand the pressures students face and know how to make learning feel less overwhelming. My previous tutoring experience has taught me that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to individual needs and learning styles. Whether you're struggling with algebra, need conversation practice in Italian, or want to improve your English grammar, I believe learning should be engaging and confidence-building rather than intimidating. I'm committed to creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes and celebrating progress. My goal is to help you not just understand the concepts, but to use your knowledge confidently in exams and real-world situations. I'm patient, encouraging, and always happy to explain concepts in different ways until they click I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels in England at St Benedict's School in Ealing with strong results, achieving A*AA in Spanish, Mathematics, and Economics at A-Level. This led to my acceptance at the University of Bristol where I am currently studying Spanish and Italian. My language studies have deepened my understanding of grammar structures and language acquisition. As Italian is my mother tongue - spoken at home and during regular visits to Italy - I have native-level fluency and cultural understanding that I can share with students. My strong mathematical foundation, combined with a natural ability to explain complex concepts clearly, allows me to help students build confidence in problem-solving. I've always enjoyed breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps, making them accessible and understandable. Additionally, I hold a 120-hour advanced TEFL certification, which has equipped me with specialized teaching techniques for language instruction.

What is the 11+ exam?
The 11+ exam is an optional exam that is usually taken in the final year of primary school.
Your child will need to take the exam if you want them to attend a grammar school or a selective secondary school. Generally, children who sit the 11+ exam are academically gifted and get above average results.
What does the 11+ exam consist of?
The exam your child will take will depend on the school you are applying for. There are four different courses that can be covered:
When should you start 11+ exam revision?
Most of the course content will have been taught in Key Stage 2. If your child has confidently soared through everything, then a few months of revision and plenty of practice can be enough. If there are any problem areas it’s wise to start at least one year in advance.
What should I revise for the 11+ exam?
Revision strategies are tailored to the different exam courses as follows:
Are there 11+ exam online course books available?
You can order the books online and your tutor can advise you on which are the most appropriate. They can also provide a reading list that helps with the English component and verbal reasoning.
The benefits of an 11+ exam online tutor

With the right tutor, your child will enjoy the revision process and will have the best possible chance of achieving a place at their dream school.
How affordable is private 11+ tuition?
The cost of private 11+ tuition can be as low as £21.99. The price of each individual lesson is dependent on how long your child would like tuition support and how many lessons they take per week. The more they learn, the lower the price of each lesson! Why not book a free trial session for you and your child to see how we can help?
What levels can my child get tuition for?
We can help your child support with private 11+ tutoring as well as offering tuition for 11 levels. Choose from a whole host of subjects across the spectrum of school levels including 11+. Your child isn't tied into one subject or level with GoStudent. Your child may need support with 11+ at the moment but as these needs change we can also offer tuition across different levels.
How can your child benefit from 11+ tuition?
The main reason that parents often start to look for a 11+ tutor is to improve their child’s academic performance. It’s needless to say that tutoring will prepare your child for important exams and tests and address specific problem areas that they might have in a particular subject. Your child’s grades and understanding of the subject will improve when working with a tutor but there are also other benefits you might consider when deciding whether to opt for private 11+ tutoring. Tutoring encourages self-directed learning. This means that your child will learn to take the initiative in their schoolwork, with the result that they will feel less overwhelmed or frustrated with school and more in control of their own learning. They will also learn study skills that will help them in life when it comes to university and beyond. Whether it’s learning to overcome obstacles in their studies, losing the fear of asking questions or even working on their social skills.
