Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. I am also interested in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning and how these are based on mathematical thought. I have a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Greece, an MA in Mathematics Education from Leeds University in the UK and a PGCE in Mathematics from the UK. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.

Hi, I’m Cameron, I’m 20 years old and currently studying Aeronautical Engineering. My goal is to become an aircraft engineer for large scale commercial aviation in aircraft’s such as the 747. My hobbies include playing lots of rugby at home and for university, hiking to keep healthy, and cooking. I’m currently studying MEng Aeronautical Engineering at Durham University where I’m on track for a First-Class. I come from a mathematical background, taking Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level where I achieved AAB. I recently finished a 14 week internship at Rosa Engineering Ltd, where I travelled the UK across various power stations to help maintain and service areas to keep them operational. My favourite included fitting a new transformer into Langage Power Station in Plymouth. After completing the masters degree I aspire to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
