Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. Hello, my name is Isabel (Belle) and I am an 18 year old first year medical student who loves to teach. I enjoy bringing my passion for studying into my lessons and using a range of teaching methods well tailored to the student to provide an enjoyable yet engaging experience. In primary school I did my 11+ alongside my SATS in year 6. I completed my GCSEs with high grades and got accepted to do A Level Bio, Chem and Psych. I am now doing premed and have completed Bio, Chem, Maths, Physics, Calculus, Anatomy, Psychology, Biochemistry subjects over the course of 2 semesters achieving 100% / close to 100% in all subjects.

I’m someone who enjoys helping others understand things and grow in confidence, especially in maths. I’ve previously given private lessons to classmates, and I found it rewarding to see a topic click after we worked through it together. My approach is to break problems into manageable steps and explain them clearly, adapting to the person I’m helping. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s an important part of learning. Outside of studying, I enjoy reading and playing football. I’d love to bring my enthusiasm for maths to GoStudent and help students feel more confident in their own abilities. I completed my GCSEs before studying Maths, Chemistry and IT at A level. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at university, where I continue to develop my mathematical knowledge and apply it to practical engineering problems. My studies have strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex calculations logically. Alongside my education, I have given private lessons to classmates, helping them understand challenging topics by breaking them into manageable steps. This experience sparked my interest in tutoring and showed me the importance of adapting explanations to each student’s understanding.
