I have just graduated from BSc (hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy with a first class. I know studying can be hard and sometimes knowing the content isn't enough. I have been tutored myself in the past, and so I know first hand what methods work and how student specific tailoring is key! I like to ask the students what they feel will be beneficial so that we can get the most out of the lessons. Through working on our weaknesses and building on our strengths, I hope we can strive to succeed. I have just graduated with a first class in BSc (Hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy. I am about to start my medical degree (MBBS) this September. I have a passion for Science and Maths and love helping others out with information and techniques that helped me during my studies! I tutor Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology GCSE and also can tutor A Level Maths and Chemistry.

Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s. I'm a second year Biomedical Science student at Queen Mary University of London with over two years of tutoring experience, mainly teaching GCSE Maths and Science. I also tutor A-Level Biology and Edexcel A-Level Maths, tailoring each lesson to suit the student's learning style and goals. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their potential in exams. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy expanding my knowledge of science and medicine, and I'm working towards a career in healthcare. I aim to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. My degree has strengthened my analytical, problem solving, and communication skills while reinforcing my passion for science and education. My lessons are carefully planned and interactive, combining clear explanations with worked examples, exam style questions, and regular practice to build confidence and improve exam technique. As a university student, I am familiar with the latest specifications and assessment styles, allowing me to provide relevant and up-to-date support. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent grades but also to develop their independent learning skills and foster a genuine understanding of the subjects they study. Academically, I achieved excellent GCSE results, earning 10 A*-As across all subjects, including Further Mathematics, before going on to study A Levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed in exams. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to both Foundation and Higher tier students. Through this role, I have helped students improve their confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, and achieve their academic goals.

I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand current exam specifications, common pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. My teaching style is supportive and tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and exam technique. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to develop their independence, motivation, and long-term love for learning. I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL), a highly academic and research-led medical school. I attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. My academic journey has equipped me with excellent organisation, resilience, and communication skills, which I bring into my tutoring by delivering clear explanations, structured lessons, and tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a second-year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.
