I am a third year medical student at Imperial College London, who also attended Queen Elizabeth's Boys' School. Whilst being a student, who's done his 11+, GCSEs and A-levels, I had to came up with new techniques to try and break down complex topics into smaller and simpler topics. I would love to pass on this knowledge, that I have gained through my experiences, onto younger students who are currently going through the processes that I did. My teaching style consists of seeing how each individual student learns best and then gearing my lessons towards their particular strengths to make learning as easy and fun as possible. I have been teaching GCSE & A-Level Maths & Sciences for upwards of 5 years now. Taking complicated ideas and simplifying them down to simple, discrete, and graspable bite-sized chunks is my passion. Exam prep. & practice is what I specialize in. Having been through the med-school application process and exams, I have learned quite a bit about exam strategies. Hello. My name is Tara, and I am a fourth-year Dental Student at Newcastle University. I grew up in London and moved to Newcastle in 2021 to start studying Dentistry. I very much enjoy the course, and we are now starting to see patients, which is very exciting. Aside from my studies, I am the Dental Netball Captain for the University, so I organise matches. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, and the first job I got was when I was 16. I worked at my local Kumon centre tutoring primary school children in English and Maths to prepare them for the 11+ entrance exam.
