Hello! I’m Alice Bennett, a licensed English teacher with 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident communicators. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, and I’ve completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Over the years, I’ve supported students preparing for college entrance exams as well as international assessments like IELTS and TOEFL. Working with learners from diverse backgrounds has taught me that every student has a unique story — and I take pride in finding strategies that help each one succeed in their own way. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. I love sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when students discover what they’re truly capable of. To further deepen my expertise, I completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. My graduate studies strengthened my understanding of language acquisition theories, research-based instructional strategies, academic writing instruction, and assessment design. This advanced training has allowed me to approach teaching with both practical experience and scholarly insight. I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years, working with students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English to Grades 7 to 10, guiding students through critical stages of their academic and personal development. I am a friendly and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Having studied A-Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry, I have a strong foundation in these subjects and aim to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with a strong background in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. My degree has strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, logical way. Having studied these subjects at A-Level, I have a solid academic foundation and enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their understanding and achieve their full potential.

I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.
