Expert KS3 Tutors: Online Tutors for 11, 12, 13 & 14 Year Olds

Hello! My name is Blessy and I am currently a third-year medical student with over six years of tutoring experience, including three years on the GoStudent platform. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, watching films and crocheting in my spare time. Alongside tutoring, I also lead teaching sessions for other medical students at my university, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I take a patient and supportive approach and am particularly experienced in working with students who may feel shy, lack confidence or struggle with focus, helping them feel more comfortable and engaged in their learning! I’m Ashwini! I'm currently doing a Masters in Natural Sciences specialising in Maths and Physics. I tutor online for GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science. I love helping students get that “click” moment, turning tricky topics into something clear, confident, and even enjoyable! Lessons are high-energy but structured: we build understanding fast, practise the skills that earn marks, and get real progress. Outside tutoring I play piano, rock climb, train in the gym/boxing and enjoy art. I’m currently studying a Masters in Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising primarily in Mathematics and Physics. My degree is highly quantitative and has given me strong problem-solving, clear mathematical communication, and the ability to break complex ideas into simple, teachable steps. This background means I’m particularly strong at teaching key GCSE and A-level areas where students often get stuck: building physical intuition in mechanics (forces, moments, energy, motion), vectors, and the maths that underpins progress: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (differentiation and integration) taught in an exam-focused, step-by-step way. I also studied Chemistry modules in my first year, which strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to teach Chemistry clearly. I’m confident supporting students with the parts of Chemistry that often feel hardest: moles, organic chemistry, bonding and structure, equilibria, acids and bases, and practical-style questions where method matters. Overall, my education means I can help students not just memorise content, but understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exam questions.
