I have tutored privately for two separate families, for children ranging between 5 - 13 years old. I first started tutoring English in 2020 and have been on and off tutoring for 5 years. Other work i have completed before has also been children specific, babysitting and netball coaching meaning i have lots of experience coaching and working with a large range of age groups.

Hi, I’m Sophie! I love teaching Maths and English, and have experience in tutoring students from 11+ to A Level. I achieved straight 9s in my GCSEs and A*s and As in A Levels, and have a particular interest in the philosophy of mathematics. My lessons focus on breaking down challenging ideas into manageable, clear steps, while building the confidence and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in exams. Hi! I'm Archie and I'm a GCSE, iGCSE, AS Level and A-Level maths tutor currently studying Mathematics and Finance at university with a current first prediction. I truly enjoy tutoring students who struggle with maths and specialise in improving predicted grades. I used to struggle with maths when I was younger but that's because I didn't understand it and now I do I'm planning on pursuing a career in it and would love to help other students get to the same level that I'm at. Hi! I’m currently studying a maths engineering degree at university and I can’t wait to use the skills I’ve learned to help students with maths and science. I understand what it’s like to struggle with a STEM subject, so I approach my tutoring from a place of patience and sympathy. When a student doesn’t understand a concept, I focus on finding out exactly what piece of the puzzle they are missing, and will re-explain the idea in a way that works for them, as everyone learns differently! Hi I'm Katie. In my free time I like to be with my friends, as well as social events within university, such as out chem eng society! Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a masters student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering.
