Hi, I’m Alice! I’m a qualified teacher with a degree in English Literature, which is a subject I’ve always really enjoyed. Following my undergraduate degree, I completed my PGCE at Plymouth Marjon University from 2022 to 2023, specialising in primary education. This gave me the professional training and practical experience required to become a qualified teacher. During my teacher training, I developed my understanding of the primary curriculum, lesson planning, assessment, behaviour management and, importantly, how to adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of different learners. From 2024 to 2026, I worked as a primary school teacher, gaining experience teaching children across the primary age range and developing a broad knowledge of the National Curriculum. My teaching experience has involved planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupils' progress, identifying areas where learners need additional support and adapting my approach to help pupils make progress.
