I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.

I have gained valuable tutoring experience in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry by working with students across a range of ages, abilities, and UK exam boards. I have supported students who are studying GCSEs (as well as the Scottish equivalents) under AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), OCR and other boards, so I understand that each board has its own style of questions, emphasis, and mark schemes. This allows me to tailor my teaching to what students actually need for their specific exams, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. In Mathematics, I have helped students build confidence in topics from core numeracy and algebra through to higher-level work such as trigonometry, statistics, and calculus. Many students arrive feeling anxious about maths, so I focus on breaking problems into manageable steps and showing that mistakes are part of learning. In Biology, I support students with topics like cells, human body systems, genetics, and ecology, helping them move beyond memorising facts to truly understanding processes and using correct scientific language. For Chemistry, I have worked with students across many topics such as bonding, calculations, reactions, and organic chemistry, often using clear explanations and practice questions to make abstract ideas feel more concrete. I have worked with students who have learning difficulties, those who need extra support as well as those aiming for top grades. Above all, I try to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve results, but to help students feel more confident, capable, and prepared for their exams. Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, graduating with First Class Honours in 2024. Achieved excellent A-Level results in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, earning grades A and A*. Also obtained 10 GCSEs at grades A and A*, demonstrating a strong and consistent academic record across core scientific and analytical subjects.

Hi, I'm Haris and I study Medicine at Leicester University, throughout school I always loved helping out any friends stuck on school work, because I found this was a great way to learn and now it's become a vital way for me to revise in med school. I will find different ways to explain certain topics to myself so that I can fully understand them, and I have found this effective when I’ve taken part in mentoring schemes at my university. This is what makes me so enthusiastic about tutoring and I can see myself taking teaching roles in the future of my carrer. I can tutor GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology, all of which I received top grades at both GCSE and A-Level. I also provide KS2 and KS3 Maths tutoring. I'm a Chelsea fan, I enjoy Xbox/PS, the Gym, Marvel Movies, and a slight bit of rugby, over the years I’ve been able to maintain all these hobbies, even through exam periods, and I put that down to timetabling effectively which is something I’m happy to help with if needed! I'm a 3rd year medical student currently studying at the University of Leicester. Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. I am patient, a great listener, and I firmly believe that anyone can become better with enough support. A-levels: 2025 Quinton House School Grade A*: Mathematics Grade A: Physics, Chemistry, and AS Further Mathematics GCSEs: 2023 Quinton House School Grade 9: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and French Grade 8: History Grade 6: English Language and English Literature I am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Systems Engineering.
