Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a final year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. Currently on track for a 1st class degree. I also achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. Along with gaining an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over 2 years. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where I have just completed a summer internship at PwC, which has lead to a full time graduate offer for September 2027. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths, Science and Chemistry.

I hold a First Class B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics, a degree that has given me a deep understanding of how mathematical thinking shapes real‑world problem‑solving — from designing transport networks through graph theory to using statistical modelling to predict future events. I have been a private maths tutor for over 6 years, supporting students from 11+ through GCSE, A‑Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, including GCSE AQA Further Mathematics and OCR FSMQ Additional Mathematics. I also tutor 11+ Maths and Non‑Verbal Reasoning. My students consistently achieve excellent results, with 90% securing a place at their first‑choice school, or obtaining grade 9/A* in GCSE Mathematics and A-level Mathematics. Alongside private tutoring, I have taught for a year in a local comprehensive school, gaining classroom experience across KS3, GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Further/Additional Maths, A‑Level Maths, Further Maths and Statistics. This combination of school teaching and long‑term private tutoring means I understand both curriculum requirements and the individual needs of learners. I attended King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys where I successfully completed my GCSEs including A* in mathematics and A in OCR FSMQ Additional Mathematics. I completed my A-levels at King Edward VI Aston School obtaining A* in Mathematics. I obtained 1st in B.Sc. Mathematics and Statistics at Coventry University. Additional, I hold a DipABRSM (now ARSM) in piano performance and grade 8 in classical guitar. During my university studies and undergraduate research, I specialised in pure & applied mathematics, statistics, statistical & data analysis, and machine learning. I am proficient in a range of software including R, Python, SPSS, MiniTab, SQL, and MatLab.

My name is Whitman, and I am a third-year at the University of Chicago studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics. Originally born in New York City, I grew up in London my entire life where I completed the IB Diploma. Outside of academics, I row at UChicago, play piano, and love to read. I am currently studying Astrophysics and Economics with a minor in Classics at the University of Chicago. I also completed my IB Diploma with HL Maths AA, HL Physics, HL Economics, HL History, SL English Lang. & Lit., and SL Spanish B. My specialisations include all of my HL subjects, and also Spanish as after graduating highschool I lived and worked in Argentina.

My name is Ash and I love tutoring students and showing them ways through which they can not only become a confident learner, but also a confident person overall. I believe that learning should not always be serious and so I tend to make learning interesting for my students at all times. My previous students have said that they never notice the time go whilst learning with me. I enjoy baking, singing, swimming and travelling.
