I am Hamdan Ahmed Sheikh, a medical student at Cardiff University tutoring GCSE students in the sciences and maths. I believe that the main role of tutoring is to cater to a student’s individual needs and my sessions will be planned with this in mind. We will work together to find areas of strength and improvement in your learning and work to address each of them so that you can get the best possible results in your exams. Having completed my A-level exams in June 2023, I am aware of the requirements of the current curriculum and the demands this places on a student. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included).
