Hi, I’m a Psychology undergraduate with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear, supportive, and engaging lessons. I offer tutoring for A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Combined Science, Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and relatable way. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Aston university and have completed A-Levels in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. My studies have equipped me with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of scientific and psychological concepts. At GCSE, I achieved strong grades across a range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature, and Mathematics. This broad academic background allows me to support students across both science and essay-based subjects. I offer tutoring in A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Combined Science. Having completed these qualifications relatively recently, I am familiar with the curriculum, exam requirements, and effective revision techniques needed for success. I have focused on helping this student consolidate their understanding of core skills; where possible, I also aim to stretch the student's understanding beyond their years, helping them to get ahead in their studies. During sixth form, I took part in a project called Maths Masterclasses, where I helped design and deliver lessons to primary school students. Planning my presentation required careful thought about structure, clarity, and how to challenge the students beyond their curriculum. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), researching how education strategies can be used in children’s medicine to give children and their carers better understanding of health. Techniques like “teach back,” where students explain a topic in their own words, have stuck with me as important tools for reinforcing learning. More informally, I’ve often found myself helping friends understand difficult topics, and I’ve learnt how to adapt my explanations depending on who I’m speaking to. These experiences have made me realise how much I enjoy teaching, especially when I can find the right approach to make a tricky concept click. I try to make sessions engaging but focused, and I’m always thinking about how to present information clearly and logically. Away from study, I really enjoy football - I love playing fantasy league and keeping up with scores. I also like to read non fiction (especially Wikipedia these days!) to broaden my knowledge on a wide range of topics. I look forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning as much as possible. I’m here to make our sessions fun, structured, and tailored to your pace, helping to place you on the path to success! I then completed my A-levels in 2024, obtaining grade A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I took part in an extracurricular programme called Maths Masterclasses, where I prepared worksheets and delivered presentations to primary school students, helping stretch their understanding of Maths beyond the standard curriculum. I was also a member of the Virtual Medical Society, working with other aspiring medical students to create presentations on topics such as medical current affairs, admission exams, and aspects of the application process. This helped me develop the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and was awarded an A* for my work. My project, titled The Role of Health Literacy in Preventative Children's Medicine, deepened my understanding of the educational principles used in healthcare and how they can be applied within broader educational contexts.

Hi! My name is Eloise, I recently graduated from the University of Lincoln with a first class psychology degree and I am excited to begin teaching A Level and GCSE psychology using the skills and knowledge I gained during my studies. Whilst at University, I tutored other students who needed help with research skills and essay writing skills as well as a GCSE history student who required exam technique mentoring, this student was able to increase their grade from a 3 to a 5 after a few sessions. My own experience with A level psychology has equipped me with tried and tested exam techniques which I would love to share with new students and help them achieve the best grades they can, and the grades they deserve, as I know how much hard work goes into these exams! I then joined the sixth form at the same school (2020-2022) where I achieved an A* in psychology, A in history and distinction* in business. I then went to the University of Lincoln (2022-2025) where I gained my Batchelor's degree in psychology with first class honours. During my degree I covered a broad scope of psychology topics and research skills, including my dissertation in my third year in which I achieved a first class grade on.
