It's a thrill to help them improve their speaking and listening - as well as reading and writing skills. It's wonderful to see them grow in confidence when expressing themselves in English. Hi, I'm Matty and I am a first year mechanical engineering student at the university of Sheffield looking to tutor physics at GCSE. I'm a patient, relaxed person who has always had a passion for learning and teaching physics. I believe I have a great process for learning sciences, especially physics, that produces deep understanding and great results. Hi! My name is Hector, and I am a 3rd year Biochemistry Student at The University of Warwick. My aim is to help people feel confident in Biology. As a university student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn't make sense. My approach is patient and clearly structured, with a focus on making sure the student not only knows what the answer is, but why it is the answer. Outside of my studies I enjoy going to the gym, playing padel and reading. I hope you will find my lessons enjoyable! I attended The Portsmouth Grammar School where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels. I studied Biology, Chemisty and Maths at A Level. After A Levels I took a year out where I worked as a ski instructor, gaining a Level 2 CSIA qualification, which allowed me to work with a large variety of clients. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of Biochemistry at The University of Warwick with a predicted First-Class, after which I'm going to undertake a masters. I'm love all biology, but my studies currently focus on oncology and molecular cell biology.
