I'm Ahsan, a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Queen Mary University of London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics and I genuinely love helping students get to grips with topics that feel confusing at first. I have paid tutoring experience so I know how to break things down in a way that actually makes sense. I'm patient, friendly, and I'll work at whatever pace suits you best. I am currently in my second year studying BSc Accounting and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, giving me a strong and up-to-date understanding of the subjects I teach. I completed my A-Levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Business Studies, so I know exactly what is required at that level and what examiners are looking for. I have paid tutoring experience working with GCSE and A-Level students, helping them build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and improve their grades. I take a structured approach to every session, starting by identifying where a student is struggling and working through those areas clearly before moving forward. Alongside my studies, I have professional experience in a finance environment which means I can bring real-world context to Economics and Maths topics, making them easier to understand and more engaging for students.

I have experience of tutoring Maths at both GCSE and A level and I thoroughly enjoy helping people to achieve their mathematical ambitions! I graduated from Durham University with a first class honours degree in Mathematics after studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and French at A level. I have various interests, ranging from cricket to quizzes, with Maths having always been one of them – helping others to work on this subject is a privilege. I am a graduate of Durham University where I attained a first class honours degree in Mathematics. I studied four subjects at A level and received a grade of A* for Maths and Further Maths. At GCSE level, I attained grades of a 9 in Maths and an 8 in Further Maths. Maths has always been at the centre of my education and I have experience of studying several different areas of the subject, including Pure Maths, Statistics and Mechanics.

I’m a motivated and adaptable BCom student with experience in online tutoring, virtual assistance, and content creation. I enjoy learning new skills, solving problems, and helping others. I’m passionate about business, technology, and personal growth. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Financial Management and have previously studied towards a BCom in Accounting. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in business management, finance, economics, accounting, and analytical thinking. Through my studies, I have developed skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, research, data interpretation, and professional communication. In addition to my formal education, I continuously expand my knowledge through self-learning in areas such as technology, coding, social media, and business strategy. I have experience working independently in an online learning environment, which has strengthened my time management, self-discipline, and organizational skills. I love to teach people, super friendly and always try to make lessons easy to follow whilst working through problems!
