Hello! My name is Ruth, and I am a dedicated tutor with over five years of teaching and tutoring experience. What started as a hobby while I was at university has grown into a genuine passion for helping students learn and succeed. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I aim to adapt my approach to suit each individual's needs. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can build confidence, develop their understanding, and achieve their academic goals. I studied Neuroscience at the University of Bristol and began tutoring GCSE Science before progressing to A-level Biology as I gained confidence and experience. I have also tutored Maths. More recently, I spent a year working as a teaching assistant in a primary school, where I gained valuable experience supporting younger children. My varied journey has allowed me to develop a broad range of teaching experience, from one-to-one sessions to small-group interventions, including supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
