I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

I graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and teach Maths to students of all ages up to A level. I achieved A*A*A* at A level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, reflecting the strong academic foundation I bring to my teaching. With my students, I ensure that their understanding of underlying methods is to the highest possible standard through rigorous practice. In my experience as a student, exposing yourself to different mathematical scenarios builds a great foundation for achieving the best possible grades. My biggest aim for my students is for them to constantly improve so that when they get to the exam, they are confident about any aspect of the syllabus that may arise. For my sessions, I will ask students what they wish to study and ensure I tailor the session around what I am told. If the student is undecided, I will plan lessons around pushing the student to challenge themselves in rigorous practice, with my guidance, around different mathematical concepts in their curriculum. For exams, my main aim is for students to achieve the best grades possible, meeting and exceeding their targets. My highest level of education is an MSci in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, I achieved A*A*A* in A-level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring students in Mathematics across a range of ages and abilities, up to A level. Through this experience, I have developed a strong ability to explain difficult concepts clearly, adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, and build both confidence and exam technique. My focus is always on ensuring students fully understand the methods they are using, so they can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence and achieve the best grades possible.

I'm an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London who enjoys helping students succeed in Maths and Physics. I explain concepts clearly, adapt to each student's learning style, and aim to build confidence as well as strong subject knowledge. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary University of London and will be entering my final year this September. My degree has strengthened my mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills through subjects such as calculus, algebra, physics and engineering principles. Before university, I studied A Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in STEM subjects. During school, I enjoyed helping younger students prepare for exams and explaining topics they found challenging. These experiences helped me develop clear communication skills and reinforced my interest in teaching. I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to adapt my explanations to suit each individual. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also gain confidence in their own abilities and enjoy learning.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I take a personalised approach to each student's learning needs, tailoring my teaching style to their unique strengths and weaknesses. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I specialise in teaching algebra, calculus, and geometry, and I am always excited to take on new challenges. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. It was during this time that I realised the profound beauty and significance of mathematics in our everyday lives. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Data Science, a field that seamlessly blends mathematical principles with cutting-edge technology. This advanced degree equipped me with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of data, utilising mathematical models, algorithms, and statistical analysis to derive meaningful insights. My Master's program not only enhanced my mathematical prowess but also sharpened my ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios. My academic journey has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the elegance of mathematics and its practical relevance in solving complex problems. I am committed to sharing this passion and knowledge with my students, guiding them on their own mathematical and analytical journeys.
