Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. Hello, my name’s Benjamin. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about maths and physics. I’ve always enjoyed talking about the subjects I love, partly because I think they’re really cool, but also because I believe it’s important to be curious about the world around us. My approach to learning is based on understanding things from first principles. I think it’s much better to build strong foundations than to simply memorise facts or methods without really knowing why they work. If you understand something properly, you shouldn’t have to remember very much at all and that makes learning a lot easier and more enjoyable. I also like connecting concepts to real-world examples, as this can make abstract ideas feel much more concrete. For example, Faraday’s law helps explain how wireless charging works! As a tutor, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and supportive, helping students build confidence as well as knowledge. I completed my A-levels at Bristol Grammar School in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, achieving A*A*A*A. In Year 12, I also gained a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award in Maths. I am now in my final year studying Physics at the University of Oxford.

Hi, I'm a 24 year old economics student at the university of Liverpool. I teach maths, economics, chemistry and biology. My areas of interest, outside of economics, are football and F1. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, watching movies and television. I am studying economics at the University of Liverpool. I studied chemistry (A) physics (B) and maths (A*) at A-level. As well as this I taught myself an AS level in further maths (B). I am constantly trying to improve my knowledge as well in my free time.
