Hi I’m Krithi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and explain them in different ways until they make sense. I’m patient, approachable and encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I’m really looking forward to helping students achieve their goals and enjoy their learning journey! I attended Highfields School, where I completed my GCSEs achieving all 7s, 8s and 9s, and subsequently studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, achieving AAA. I am now preparing to begin my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. My main academic specialisations are Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a particular interest in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I am particularly interested in how scientific knowledge can be applied to understand the human body and disease. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting and tutoring younger students, including helping Year 11 students with their GCSE preparation. This has taught me how important it is to adapt explanations to each student's individual needs and learning style. I enjoy breaking challenging topics into smaller, manageable steps and encouraging students to work things out independently rather than simply giving them the answer.

Hi! I'm Michaelangelos, a mathematics graduate from the University of St Andrews (MMath) and incoming PhD student at the University of Glasgow. I've been tutoring maths for several years, including Higher and National 5, and it's something I genuinely love doing. What I care most about is helping students build real confidence and intuition, not just memorise steps. Maths can feel intimidating, and I get a lot of satisfaction from being the person who helps make it click, whether that's turning anxiety into understanding, or helping a curious student go further than they thought possible. I'm equally excited to work with students who find maths difficult and scary as I am to work with those who want to push themselves and become really strong mathematically. Whatever your starting point, I'll meet you there. I am currently an incoming PhD student at the University of Glasgow, where my research focuses on dissecting neural networks, specifically regarding optimisation and generalisation. Prior to this, I completed an Integrated Master of Mathematics (MMath) at the University of St Andrews. During my time at St Andrews, I was placed on the Dean's List consecutively and achieved first-class averages in my final two years of study. I also spent an exchange year at Western University during the 2024-2025 academic year. My academic background is deeply rooted in advanced mathematics and computational science. My master’s dissertation, which earned a 90% grade and was highly commended for the Duncan Prize, focused on a posteriori methods for error control via the reconstruction technique. My key areas of study have included stochastic dynamics, statistical machine learning, financial mathematics, neural networks, and data analytics consulting. Through these experiences, I have developed strong technical proficiencies in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, SQL, and R, along with various machine learning frameworks.

Hi! I’m Sabrina, a third-year medical student with a passion for Biology and Chemistry. I’m a patient, approachable and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Having experience tutoring SEN students, I understand the importance of adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs. I aim to make difficult topics easier to understand through clear explanations, encouragement and a supportive learning environment. Outside of my studies, I enjoy swimming which taught me discipline and perseverance. I am currently a third year medical student, I completed a foundation year as well before progressing into my medical degree and I completed my A levels at Harris Westminister Sixthform and at GCSE I achieved four grade 9s, five grade 8s and and one Grade 7

- Presently I am a post A-Level student currently on a gap year, preparing applications to study Biochemical engineering at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London. - I have a deep passion for mathematics, particularly how mathematical modelling and applied mathematics apply to solving real world problems. - Alongside my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry at GSK, alongside significant clinical exposure. This has given me a strong understanding of how the core concepts taught in school maths and science apply directly to cutting-edge real-world technologies. - I have a proven track record in student support, having mentored Year 7 students in mathematics. This role allowed me to develop the patience and communication skills needed to help pupils build strong academic foundations. - Have completed A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Carmel college VI form, Darlington, United kingdom. - Enjoy maths and fascinated by how mathematical concepts can be applied into real world scenarios particularly healthcare in improving human health. - Achieved A* in A-level Mathematics (268/300) so I have the knowledge to share with many students in order to help them reach their full potential. - Alongside A-levels, I completed an academic project titled "Will there ever be a cure for Coronary heart disease?" , in which I synthesised medical literature on biochemical mechanisms and emerging therapies. - Whilst in college took part in an international volunteering trip in Peru where collaboratively with the team we built a school and delivered interactive workshops to the young children in Peru in English, crafts, sports and dance.
