Hello, my name is Lorenzo and I am an Italian mathematician. I have been a university lecturer of maths at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Rome Sapienza for 4 academic years. I have worked at an international college school in Rome (courses fully taught in English language) as a teacher of maths and physics for students of years 10 and 11, following UK Cambridge curriculum and preparing them for the IGCSE exam. Hi, my name is Jaismeen and I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering. I tutor Maths, Physics and Spanish, and I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear, structured and encouraging way. My teaching style is patient and flexible. I like to break topics down step by step, check understanding regularly, and adapt my explanations depending on how the student learns best. If one method does not work, I try another approach, such as visual examples, real-life situations, practice questions or simpler explanations. I have previous experience tutoring children during summer breaks in my hometown, as well as experience babysitting and volunteering in local activities involving children and young people. These experiences helped me become organised, calm, responsible and supportive.
