Hi, I’m Siham. I have been teaching English since 2019, both online and offline. I have 2 years of classroom teaching experience at an NGO and a language centre, as well as 5 years of online teaching experience. I hold a university degree in Science and am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies. I also hold a TESOL Methodology certificate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and I am currently completing a 120-hour TESOL training course. Outside teaching, I enjoy painting, learning languages, watching movies, listening to music, reading, and trying new cuisines. I achieved an A* in Spanish at both GCSE and A-level, as well as a first-class degree specialising in French and Spanish Interpreting and Translation, and have tutored Spanish A-level students (CCEA Northern Ireland Specification) for two years. I then decided to specialise in languages, studying an MA (Hons) in Translation and Interpretation (French and Spanish) at Heriot-Watt University. Hi! My name is Anushka Thomas and I am a second year Biomedical Science BSc Student at King's College London. I am specialising in Immunology and Infectious Disease and am particularly interested in drug discovery and public health. I am really passionate about studying and communicating science in a clear and engaging way! Attended Northampton High School (GDST) where I obtained 99998 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English language and Maths. I then went on to complete A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have completed Year 1 of my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science where I studied the following modules: Anatomy, Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, Chemistry and Pharmacology. In my second year I plan to specialise in Immunology and Infectious disease where I will be studying modules such as Cancer Cell Biology, Drug Discovery and Development as well as Medical Microbiology. Having spent the last 5 years undergoing rigorous examinations, university entrances as well as having to grasp vast amounts of difficult scientific content, I believe I am well-equipped to help others in similar positions.
