I am an undergraduate Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Imperial College London with over two years of tutoring experience. I specialise in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level. I have worked for a professional tutoring company, tutored students privately and volunteered as a tutor in schools. My teaching style focuses on developing strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills rather than simply memorising methods. I encourage students to think through problems independently while breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps when needed. This allows me to identify misconceptions, strengthen their foundations and build their confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual ability, goals an...

I’m currently studying sociology at the University of the West of England in Bristol to become a teacher of sociology in the future! I love music- especially dance music- as well as animals (definitely a dog person!) and nature. My free time is usually spent going out with friends, playing video games, and going on walks. I am currently studying at UWE Bristol. Prior to this I studied at KLB at A-Level and GCSE. I have A-Level qualifications in sociology, psychology, and English literature. During my gap year I spent time working at my old secondary school/sixth form and have a year’s experience in tutoring both 1 on 1 and in small groups

Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I completed my O Levels with a strong focus on science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, followed by A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I am passionate about breaking down complex topics into digestible lessons and supporting students in building both competence and confidence in Physics.
