I am tutoring in Sociology and Religious Studies. I am currently studying for a BA in Sociology at the University of Warwick. I provide a flexible teaching style where everything is tailored to you. I am the welfare officer for Warwick STAR and I also have experience volunteering at primary and secondary schools and youth clubs. I have achieved a grade 4-9 in all of my GCSE'S. At college I studied criminology and sociology and I am now studying for a ba in Sociology at the University of Warwick. Hi, I’m Aryan, a 19 year old BSc Economics and Geography student at UCL. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I enjoy helping students understand topics that they may initially find difficult. Before university, I completed the IB achieving 41 points overall, including a 7 in Higher Level Chemistry and 6s in Higher Level Economics and Mathematics. I also studied Geography (7), Spanish (6) and English literature (6) at standard level. I have experience both tutoring other students and being tutored myself, so I understand what makes a lesson genuinely helpful and engaging from both perspectives. I know that every student learns differently, and I try to adapt my explanations and teaching style to what works best for each individual. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, and being involved in university societies and leadership roles. Alongside my studies, I have taken on academic and leadership responsibilities, including serving as a First Year Academic Representative at UCL.

I help KS3 and GCSE students build real confidence in Spanish — not just memorise vocabulary for the next test, but actually understand and enjoy the language. For the past seven years I've guided teenagers through reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons built around exactly what they're examined on (AQA specification). Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on.
