I am a fourth-year medical student with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. While I was always a relatively capable student, I learned early on that success didn’t come without hard work, sacrifice, and most importantly, support. During a particularly challenging period in my studies, I met a tutor who completely revitalised my passion for learning and helped me reach my potential. That experience shaped who I am today and inspired me to do the same for others. Academically, I achieved three A grades at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and all 9s in GCSE in these subjects. Beyond my own studies, I have two years of tutoring experience, beginning in sixth form, where I supported GCSE students across multiple subjects. One example I am especially proud of is helping a student improve from a grade 5 to a grade 8 in GCSE chemistry, by building their confidence, exam technique, and understanding from first principles. My primary role as a tutor is to help you achieve the grades you need and develop a strong, lasting understanding of your subject. However, I also believe learning works best in a supportive environment - so please think of me not just as a tutor, but as someone approachable and encouraging. I’m always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, and support you every step of the way. I attended a comprehensive school until year 10 and then a grammar school from year 10 all the way until year 13. The amazing learning and experiences in both have shaped me to be the man I am today, and enabled me to achieve the grades I needed in GCSE and A-level to now be studying medicine in my 4th year at Aston University. I have over a year of tutoring experience in the sciences and maths from KS2 all the way until A-level and I racked up many 5 star reviews and gave tailored help to each student I taught. Personal academic achievements include being the 2025 winner of the annual Rosalind Franklin essay competition in Aston Medical School completing 2 summer internships in biomedical research and have several research papers in the works for publication.

I also did my Teaching English as Foreign Language. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education Honours in Mathematics and Science Education. I’m now persuading my Master of Education in Mathematics Education with University of Pretoria. I worked as an online teacher at International Schooling an online school based in Singapore, I was teaching Mathematics and Science Grade 7-12. Hi, I’m Cameron, I’m 20 years old and currently studying Aeronautical Engineering. My goal is to become an aircraft engineer for large scale commercial aviation in aircraft’s such as the 747. My hobbies include playing lots of rugby at home and for university, hiking to keep healthy, and cooking. I’m currently studying MEng Aeronautical Engineering at Durham University where I’m on track for a First-Class. I come from a mathematical background, taking Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level where I achieved AAB. I recently finished a 14 week internship at Rosa Engineering Ltd, where I travelled the UK across various power stations to help maintain and service areas to keep them operational. My favourite included fitting a new transformer into Langage Power Station in Plymouth. After completing the masters degree I aspire to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a final year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. Currently on track for a 1st class degree. I also achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. Along with gaining an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over 2 years. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where I have just completed a summer internship at PwC, which has lead to a full time graduate offer for September 2027. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths, Science and Chemistry.
