Hi, I’m Lily and I’m a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my second year of completing the joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage with students and adapt my teaching methods to the particular student to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible in a fun and relaxed setting. I teach Spanish after studying the language at GCSE, A-level, and degree level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in this area to help students who are keen to learn of all ages. We can have fun whilst we learn as I truly believe you learn the most and remember the most when you are enjoying what you are doing. Outside of studying and tutoring I love to play instruments like the guitar and the piano, and I also kick-box and dance. I love to keep myself busy and to help elevate others to be the best versions of themselves which is why I love to tutor, and this year I will be teaching English in Spain. Hi! I'm a first-year Accounting and Finance student at the University of Warwick, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level Computer Science and Maths. I achieved an A* in A-Level Computer Science and an A in Maths, so I've recently sat the exams your child is preparing for and know how the papers are marked. I work through past questions and worked examples built around the topics a student finds hardest, rather than moving through a syllabus at a fixed pace. I'm patient, I'm happy to explain something more than once, and I'd rather a student understands why a method works than memorises it. During Sixth Form I also worked with my school's Computer Science department on a software project, and I was Subject Prefect for Computer Science, which involved explaining course content to younger students and presenting the subject to parents at open days.
