Hi, I’m Mareena. I am currently in university studying optometry and the university of Leicester. I’m excited to start my role as a tutor and have the opportunity to help students improve their skills and gain confidence in themselves. I’m looking forward to supporting them in reaching their goals and making their learning experience enjoyable and rewarding. I completed my GCSEs, achieving grades 6-9, and A Levels at St Edmund Campion Catholic school. I am going to study optometry at the university of Leicester. . I have gained some tutoring experience by supporting a student in Mathematics over two online sessions. During these sessions, I focused on explaining mathematical concepts clearly, working through questions step-by-step, and adapting my explanations to help the student understand the topics more confidently.

Hi, I’m a Psychology undergraduate with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear, supportive, and engaging lessons. I offer tutoring for A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Combined Science, Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and relatable way. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams. I have just graduated from BSc (hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy with a first class. I know studying can be hard and sometimes knowing the content isn't enough. I have been tutored myself in the past, and so I know first hand what methods work and how student specific tailoring is key! I like to ask the students what they feel will be beneficial so that we can get the most out of the lessons. Through working on our weaknesses and building on our strengths, I hope we can strive to succeed. I have just graduated with a first class in BSc (Hons) Biomedical science with Anatomy. I am about to start my medical degree (MBBS) this September. I have a passion for Science and Maths and love helping others out with information and techniques that helped me during my studies!
