Hello! My name is Anna Mai, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying to become an Early Years Teacher. I have extensive experience working with children and young people in educational settings, and I am committed to helping every student build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential. Alongside my academic background, I have gained extensive practical experience working with children. I currently work in a Montessori setting, where I support children's learning through child-centred, hands-on activities that encourage independence, creativity, and confidence. I also work part-time in afterschool care, assisting children with homework, organising educational and recreational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development. For about 6 years and about 4000 hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for GCSE and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL), which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. I combine actual study content with relevant past papers, quizzes, and tips that have consistently helped my students quickly improve their grades, drawing from my firsthand experience of the struggles these subjects can present and my own journey of steadily turning my grades around.
