Hello there! Hope you are well. My name is Joshua Hailey and my pronouns are he/him. I have been an online tutor for over three years, and I hope this 'About Me' section gives you an insight into who I am and my teaching style. Before I go into more detail about who I am, I would urge you to read the reviews, (also on this page), from some of my current and past parents whose children I am teaching/have taught! These statements can help you make an informed decision and, (hopefully), choose me as your child's next tutor. I am an English Literature BA (Hons) graduate who studied at the University of Portsmouth. I also have a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Literature from the University of Leicester. With over three years tutoring experience, a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, I have challenged and supported students across all educational stages, including primary school pupils right up to A Level students! I want your child to succeed and I truly believe they can do this! My lessons are varied, fun, but get the work done! Education is not 'one size fits all', and online tutoring is the perfect example of this. My sessions will see your child grow from strength to strength, as they learn new concepts and methods of success in their respective subject. You will not find me simply reading off a screen for the entire lesson, but you can expect interactivity to drive every single lesson that I will (hopefully) have with your child! In addition to English tuition, I also offer Primary Maths, 11+ and History. I have experience supporting students in all these subjects, and have completed them to a GCSE/A Level standard (for more information on this, please see my 'Academic Background' section). In summary, I promise to adopt a customised learning plan and positive ethos for your child across all sessions. As the parent, you deserve to feel included in your child's progress. I will endeavour to regularly update you through messages, comprehensive written reports and periodic phone calls should you want them! Hi. I teach maths. My best skill is making making topics which feel very over complicated at first into much more understandable and simple concepts. My past experience is within working with at Harvard for a professor, competing in many mathematics competitions all around the UK and studying higher level institutional maths. Besides maths I love room interior design, Fruitiger aero aesthetic and 3d printing. I have currently just finished my studies. I am now looking to apply and pursue PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at Oxford University. I have previously studied Maths, Further Maths and Economics. My experience within maths would be my previous work at Harvard University, my many experiences at maths competitions all across London and as well as my personal studies of higher level institutional mathematics.

Hi my name is Fatima! I am a passionate and positive individual who would love to help support you in your studies. I have recently completed my A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I love to help students understand challenging topics and build their confidence even when it becomes challenging. I believe everyone learns differently, so I will adapt my lessons to suit each student. This involves breaking down challenging topics, practising exam questions, quizzes, active recall and creating engaging revision sessions. As I’ve recently been a student myself, I understand the pressures of exams, grades and revision. I want to make my lessons supportive and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. We will work through it together and become more confident. I am patient and approachable, and I will always be happy to explain topics or answer questions that my students ask me. I am looking foward to helping you reach your academic goals! I attended Oulder Hill Leadership Academy (2019-2024) leaving with 8 GCSE's. My subjects were Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science, Geography, Art and Religious Studies. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form and completed my A-Levels (2024-2026). My subjects were Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies (Philosophy, Theology and Ethics). I have experience in working with high school students who were choosing their A-Levels. I volunteered to help in sessions for A-Level Religious Studies and helped explain to students what this A-Level involves. I will now be a student at The Open University and I will be studying Psychology with Counselling as my Bachelors Degree. Lastly, I specialise in A-Level Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I achieved AAA and have always been very passionate in all three of my subjects.

A junior Finance manager in the NHS.Previously a primary class teacher. I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Experience of tutoring online and in person therefore able to adapt to students learning. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.
