Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm 22 years old from the North East. I am currently completing my Masters in Developmental Psychology and have a deep interest in education and teaching. My background in psychology has helped me to gain a deep understanding of how young people learn and how best to explain tricky concepts. In my free time I enjoy reading, pilates and spending time with my dog! I look forward to getting to know you and helping you to reach your full potential :) I am currently a Masters student at Sheffield Hallam University, studying Developmental Psychology. I am expected to receive a Merit grade. Previous to this, I did my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Sheffield Hallam and achieved a 2:1 grade. I have A-levels in psychology, english literature and history.

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. I achieved 3 A*s and an A in my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish. I am a first year economics student.

“Good morning, my name is Hasara Mataraarachchi, and I am 30 years old. I graduated with a degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon. Currently, I teach Mathematics. I have been working as a one-to-one tutor for about six years. During this time, I have supported students preparing for exams such as SAT and GCSE. I have experience teaching students at different levels, and I adapt my lessons to meet their individual learning needs. I have also taught a student with ADHD, which helped me develop patience and flexible teaching strategies. I am passionate about teaching because I truly enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts. It is very rewarding to see their confidence grow once they begin to grasp something they previously found challenging. I am especially interested in supporting students with learning differences such as dyscalculia and dyslexia. In my lessons, I focus on making learning engaging by using interactive methods and real-life examples. I adapt to each student’s learning style through questioning and step-by-step scaffolding. For example, when teaching algebra, I break problems into smaller steps and use clear, structured methods to support understanding. Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my pets. Thank you for this opportunity. Hi I’m Krithi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and explain them in different ways until they make sense. I’m patient, approachable and encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I’m really looking forward to helping students achieve their goals and enjoy their learning journey! I attended Highfields School, where I completed my GCSEs achieving all 7s, 8s and 9s, and subsequently studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, achieving AAA. I am now preparing to begin my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. My main academic specialisations are Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a particular interest in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I am particularly interested in how scientific knowledge can be applied to understand the human body and disease. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting and tutoring younger students, including helping Year 11 students with their GCSE preparation. This has taught me how important it is to adapt explanations to each student's individual needs and learning style. I enjoy breaking challenging topics into smaller, manageable steps and encouraging students to work things out independently rather than simply giving them the answer.
