Hi, my name is Sanjhu, and I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and feel more confident in themselves. I understand that studying can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I explain topics in a clear and simple way and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, going on walks, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. I’m reliable, approachable, and always motivated to support students in reaching their goals. I am currently a first-year medical student, studying at the University of Exeter. Before starting medicine, I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in scientific knowledge, problem-solving, and exam technique. My studies at university continue to build on these skills, particularly in understanding complex concepts, applying knowledge, and communicating clearly. Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. I’m someone who’s deeply passionate about personal growth and helping others reach their full potential. I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. I believe that self-improvement extends beyond the gym – it’s about empowering others to enhance their lives, whether through motivation, guidance, or simply offering a supportive hand when needed. I have a strong academic foundation, holding a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, this has not only provided me with in-depth knowledge of design, Mathematics, and creative problem-solving, but also a deep appreciation for the intersection of Art, English, Science, and functionality. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a passion for education and a love for helping others reach their potential.
