Hi, I’m Lily and I’m a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my second year of completing the joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage with students and adapt my teaching methods to the particular student to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible in a fun and relaxed setting. I teach Spanish after studying the language at GCSE, A-level, and degree level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in this area to help students who are keen to learn of all ages. We can have fun whilst we learn as I truly believe you learn the most and remember the most when you are enjoying what you are doing. Outside of studying and tutoring I love to play instruments like the guitar and the piano, and I also kick-box and dance. I love to keep myself busy and to help elevate others to be the best versions of themselves which is why I love to tutor, and this year I will be teaching English in Spain. I'm a second year Biomedical Science student at Queen Mary University of London with over two years of tutoring experience, mainly teaching GCSE Maths and Science. I also tutor A-Level Biology and Edexcel A-Level Maths, tailoring each lesson to suit the student's learning style and goals. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their potential in exams. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy expanding my knowledge of science and medicine, and I'm working towards a career in healthcare. My degree has strengthened my analytical, problem solving, and communication skills while reinforcing my passion for science and education. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to both Foundation and Higher tier students.
