Hi, I’m Aisha, a dedicated tutor with experience supporting learners in Maths, English, and Science from KS1 to KS4, including SEN students. I’m currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Physics, and I love helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. Alongside this, I’ve gained valuable online tutoring experience, adapting lessons to suit each learner’s style and pace. My background in Mathematics and Science gives me a strong academic foundation, while my hands‑on teaching has taught me how to make complex ideas clear and accessible. I am currently studying for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Physics with the Open University, which gives me a strong foundation in problem‑solving, logical thinking, and scientific analysis. My degree allows me to bring fresh, up‑to‑date knowledge into my lessons and connect classroom topics to real‑world applications. I completed IGCSEs in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English Language, and Computer Science. This broad academic background means I can support students across STEM subjects as well as English, helping them to develop both technical skills and clear communication.

I'm currently a 3rd year student at the University of Pretoria, studying BEng in Civil Engineering. Completed my high school with distinction, and passed my 1st 2 years of University with distinction. I have been helping countless students for close to a decade, mainly on STEM field related subjects. I'm a youth cell leader at church. And I also love running. I completed my high school at Guyani High School, with 7 distinctions, then further my education in Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria. I'm currently in my third year. My 1st year was mostly consolidation of the basics, which I found interesting, as I learned how to apply multidisciplinary subjects. My 2nd was introduction to engineering, and my third has been about applying the engineering principles to design structures that economical and safe.

I teach GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, as well as Year 12 A-level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. My approach prioritizes clarity and engagement, aiming to make complex concepts accessible and inspiring for students. I strive to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence, helping each student reach their full potential and excel in their studies. In College, I studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, which are some of the subjects I specialise in, but also enjoy heavily. I've had experience in teaching, where I taught a range of year groups at my local community trust, including languages, academic subjects, and religion.

I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in both GCSE Maths and 11+ preparation. Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC. These subjects have strengthened my critical thinking skills, making me have a deeper appreciation for how much we use these subjects every day.
