I am a Medical Doctor on a new journey to further my education. I have approximately 5 years of tutoring experience across the board. I mainly started tutoring as a way to learn and retain the content for good grades. I found that when helping my peers I also helped myself improve my grades. In lower level I have experience tutoring Science and Math while in GCSE and A-Level I tutor Chemistry, Biology and Math. In higher level tutoring, i offer services on any Subject health related eg Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology etc. I offer my services to any student who is willing to learn. I am fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili. During my leisure time i enjoy reading a novel, spending time with friends, road trips, baking and movies . Hello, I am from London, but I am currently a second year Dental student at University. I have been tutoring various subjects for over 5 years now, which I have grown to become super passionate about! My favourite hobbies include ballet, piano and violin. Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests, English language (specifically), and Geography. I can cover KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level (Biology and Chemistry) content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I also scored highly on the UKCAT/BMAT tests and am prepared to share my wisdom to tutees as I know what the problematic areas are and the best ways to tackle them. I am currently studying medicine and hence still very familiar with many of the concepts from A-level Biology and Chemistry, as much of what I study stems from knowledge acquired from GCSE and A-level Sciences. I am extremely enthusiastic about medicine, as the human body is one of my most profound fascinations, and I believe I can convey my enthusiasm for education through my lessons. In sixth form, I was a peer mentor and often had to help students struggling with their subjects, and so I have attained a plethora of knowledge on efficient methods to overcome revision and learning issues; furthermore, I am quite an active and independent learner and have trialled many different studying techniques in the past. Therefore, I can tailor my lessons to the tutee’s preferences, e.g., usage of more diagrams for visual learners and more verbal explanations for aural learners.
