I’m a Business Economics graduate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. I’m passionate about helping students not just understand their subjects, but feel confident applying what they’ve learned in exams. This gave me a solid academic foundation and a strong understanding of both numerical and essay-based subjects. I completed my IGCSEs under the Cambridge exam board, which exposed me to an internationally recognised curriculum and helped me build disciplined study habits from an early stage. I also completed part of my education in Nigeria, which has given me a broader perspective on learning and allows me to connect with students from different backgrounds and adapt to their individual needs and growth.

I have 10+ years of teaching experience at school level, academies and online classes. To help my students out with their queries and bringing them out of grey zones is my utmost priority. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

Mechanical Engineer, incredibly passionate about teaching, precisely Mathematics; -LC/A-level Math (I would love to have A-level trials as a priority for now if possible) -JC/GCSE Math - primary level Math(11+) Languages: English, French, Arabic Having a couple of years of experience, I find that it's extremely efficient to build a genuine friendly relationship with my students accompanied with respect, the right ethical mannerism, and last but not least, pleasure, because learning is highly interesting when the tutor is ready and thrilled to deliver his absolute best in the most suitable way. I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I would love to focus on taking A-level students at the moment. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
