Hi! I am Sanjana, an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge with a huge passion to work with students to aid them gain confidence in a wide range of subjects. Having tutored in the past with children aged 4 - 16, I aim to work with the student on an individual level ensuring we work together, at the students own pace and way of learning. Aside from tutoring and study, I love creating in terms of art/design as well as in cooking, walking and listening to music! I attended Tonbridge Grammar School from Year 7 -11 and St Olaves Grammar School for the remainder for sixth-form where I achieved 7 x 9s and 2 A* and A. I am currently studying a BA in Architecture at the University of Cambridge, where I am a full-time student. Previously, I worked as a tutor at explore learning for 1.5 years where I taught students aged 4-16 in english, maths, 11+ and GCSE. I volunteered in primary schools aswell whereby I helped young students in art and crafts as well as english. I also have tutored students privately in art.

I help KS3 and GCSE students build real confidence in Spanish — not just memorise vocabulary for the next test, but actually understand and enjoy the language. For the past seven years I've guided teenagers through reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons built around exactly what they're examined on (AQA specification). Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on. I’m a medical student with a strong passion for education and helping others succeed academically. Over time, I’ve developed effective learning strategies and a deep understanding of biology, chemistry, maths, economics, English all of which I’m eager to share. I'm highly organised, patient and committed to making a difference with all my tutees. I attended Shree Academy, where I completed my international GCSEs and A levels, achieving exemplary grades allowing me to pursue my medical career. I am currently a fourth-year medical student striving to be the best doctor I possibly can be in order to fulfil my passion for saving lives and providing all-encompassing healthcare.

I’m passionate about teaching Biology and Chemistry and inspiring young people to enjoy and understand science. I love helping others learn, building their confidence and sharing my knowledge in an engaging way. I have recently completed my three-year Law degree and am about to begin my Master’s. Outside of studying and teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, learning languages and exercising. I also care deeply about our planet and enjoy working on projects that can help create a better future. My education has taken place across Canada, India, Estonia and the UK, giving me valuable experience of different education systems, teaching styles and learning environments. Studying in different countries has helped me develop a broad perspective on education and understand that every student learns in their own way. I recently completed my three-year LLB Law degree in the UK and am now preparing to begin a Master’s in Law, with the long-term goal of completing a PhD. Alongside Law, I have studied Biology, Chemistry and other science-related subjects and have completed additional courses to develop my knowledge and skills. My background across both science and law has strengthened my analytical, research and problem-solving abilities. My international education has also taught me to appreciate different approaches to learning, which helps me adapt my tutoring style to suit each student’s individual needs, goals and level of understanding. I am passionate about sharing science knowledge with young people and helping students become more confident, curious and enthusiastic about learning.
