Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. Even in University, I have volunteered to teach the younger years about Medicine and when it comes to online tutoring, I have had a good amount of experience when it comes to teaching GCSE content to students. I really enjoy getting to meet all the new people I have the privilege of teaching and in a way this job is very rewarding for me because I know just how much of an impact tutoring can have on not only a student's performance in their exams but also their confidence when it comes to various topics. In my spare time I like to play football, watch documentaries and best of all spend time with my friends. Thank you :) For secondary school, I attended Ermysteds Grammar School in Skipton. The school required an 11+ exam for entry which I comfortably passed. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. And as of now, I am in my third year of Medical School with hopes one day of becoming a Cardiologist.

Hello! My name is Ria, and I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I completed my degree in November 2025. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. While I primarily tutor Mathematics, I can also assist with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I am comfortable teaching learners from Grade R through Grade 12, although I particularly enjoy working with younger students between the ages of 6 and 12, as this is such an important stage for building strong academic foundations. Throughout my academic journey, I have informally tutored family members, friends, and classmates from high school through to university level. These experiences taught me that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual learner. I strive to create a calm, patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards learning. I graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa in November 2025. Throughout my studies, I developed a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, process engineering, and analytical thinking, while also learning how to approach complex problems in a logical and structured manner. Chemical engineering is a challenging and multidisciplinary field that combines scientific principles with practical problem-solving to design and improve industrial processes. During my degree, I studied a wide range of subjects, including advanced mathematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, reaction engineering, process control, and process design. These subjects strengthened both my technical knowledge and my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. One of the most rewarding aspects of my academic career was participating in research and design projects. I worked on a biogas enrichment research project that focused on improving the methane content of biogas through water scrubbing techniques. This project involved laboratory work, experimental design, data analysis, and technical presentations. Through this experience, I developed strong analytical, research, and communication skills while gaining hands-on laboratory experience. In addition, I completed several engineering design projects involving distillation design, reactor design, process simulation, process optimisation, and process control. These projects required the use of engineering software and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. They also strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Throughout my academic journey, I have regularly assisted family members, friends, and classmates with their studies, ranging from school-level mathematics and science to university-level engineering concepts. These experiences helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style and reinforced my passion for education. My academic background has equipped me with not only strong technical knowledge but also the ability to explain concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.
