Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. A bit about me: I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a couple of years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and Pilates. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a couple of years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Hello, my name’s Benjamin. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about maths and physics. I’ve always enjoyed talking about the subjects I love, partly because I think they’re really cool, but also because I believe it’s important to be curious about the world around us. My approach to learning is based on understanding things from first principles. I think it’s much better to build strong foundations than to simply memorise facts or methods without really knowing why they work. If you understand something properly, you shouldn’t have to remember very much at all and that makes learning a lot easier and more enjoyable. I also like connecting concepts to real-world examples, as this can make abstract ideas feel much more concrete. For example, Faraday’s law helps explain how wireless charging works! As a tutor, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and supportive, helping students build confidence as well as knowledge. I completed my A-levels at Bristol Grammar School in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, achieving A*A*A*A. In Year 12, I also gained a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award in Maths. I am now in my final year studying Physics at the University of Oxford.

Hi! I’m Surabhi - I love helping students not just understand their subjects, but actually enjoy learning. I focus on building confidence, finding the right approach for each person, and making lessons engaging and interactive. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small or silly they may sound :) Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, art and dance! All of which helps me bring a bit of creativity into our sessions. Over the course of my education, I have developed strong knowledge in Economics but even more in English Literature - a subject I am highly passionate about, alongside effective study strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others. I have experience supporting peers through informal tutoring and study groups, helping them build confidence.

Hi, I'm Komal! I tutor Italian, Maths (GCSE, both Foundation and Higher), Primary English, A-Level Law, and A-level Psychology. Through my Psychology degree, I studied motivation theories in depth, and I draw on this when helping students build revision strategies that genuinely work for them, whether that's a sense of progress, clear goals, or feeling in control of their own learning. I also served as my university's Students' Union President, which sharpened my communication and organisational skills. My goal is to make lessons practical, encouraging, and tailored to how you learn best. A little more about me: I'm a native Italian speaker and also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and English, so I love working with students from a range of language backgrounds. Due to my own background, I understand firsthand what it's like to adapt to a new curriculum and language of instruction, and I use that experience to help my students feel confident rather than overwhelmed. I completed my primary and middle school education in Italy before moving to the UK in Year 10, which gave me a strong foundation in Italian language and culture alongside adapting quickly to the English education system. Despite the transition, I achieved an 8 in GCSE Maths, and I'm comfortable teaching both Foundation and Higher level content as a result. I went on to study A-level Maths in college, before graduating with a First Class degree in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University. This academic background means I can confidently support students in Maths, Psychology, and beyond, while also drawing on my multilingual background to help with Italian and English language learning.
