I have over 20 years teaching experience. I have a Cambridge DELTA teaching certificate. I have taught EFL in several countries, including Chile, Brazil, and Italy. My students range from primary school children to adults, from A1 level to university pre-sessional courses. I have prepared university students for General English and Master's preparation courses in Business English, HRM, and STEM courses. I do not teach English Literature at GCSE level. I also have a Master's degree in Spanish and Italian. I have tutored these languages since graduating in 2010. I lived 10 years in Chile and around 5 years in Italy, which deepened my knowledge of the languages. Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.
