Languages: English and Spanish. I am a native Spanish and Dr in social anthropologist at the the University of Manchester. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how culture influence the production of knowledge. I also have knowledge in film studies and skills in audio-visual production. I can support students in their academic and artistic creative process. In my teaching, I link the learning material and cultures to engage in communication with the students and contextualise what we are learning. Cycling, climbing and the love for animals are some of my main personal interests. I love travelling and I am currently living in Berlin.

I am a Masters student studying Applied Mathematics at the University of Birmingham, with a first-class degree in Mathematics from Aston University. I help GCSE and A-level students build confidence by explaining topics clearly, starting with simple examples and gradually working towards exam-style questions. I am patient, friendly and adaptable, and I take time to identify where each student is struggling. I achieved 988877776 in GCSEs from Sandwell Academy with a 9 in Mathematics and then continued my A-Levels at Sandwell Academy achieving ABC in Mathematics, Economics and Further Mathematics respectively. I then attended Aston University achieving a strong first-class honours degree in Mathematics. I now am undertaking a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Birmingham.
