I'm someone who genuinely enjoys learning and sharing what I know with others. I like solving problems, breaking down challenging concepts into simple steps, and helping students build confidence as they learn. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creative hobbies like knitting and crochet, which have taught me patience, attention to detail, and the value of practicing new skills. I believe learning works best when students feel supported, comfortable asking questions, and encouraged to learn at their own pace. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA), specialising in Mathematics and Computer Science. My studies have covered areas such as mathematical analysis, problem-solving, programming, and computational concepts. I have experience working with programming languages including Python, C++, and MATLAB, and have developed strong analytical and logical reasoning skills through my coursework.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for over a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I am currently a second year student, studying Chemistry at the University of Surrey. I have strong foundational qualifications in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. My problem solving and quantitative skills will be useful in helping explain difficult concepts to a variety of students. Outside of studying I enjoy Judo and rock climbing which has built my resilience and other skills. I am currently a second year Chemistry Student at the University of Surrey.
