Hello, I’m Elchanne Mae A. Ricafort, a Licensed Professional Teacher, a Values Education major, and a cum laude graduate. I am an experienced mathematics tutor with a strong background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol. Over the past five years, I have successfully delivered tailored, one-to-one tutoring sessions for students of all abilities, including those with neurodivergencies. My approach focuses on diagnostic assessment, breaking down complex topics into clear steps, and building automated tracking to measure progress. Dedicated to making maths engaging and accessible, I love helping students build long-term confidence and achieve their full potential. I hold a 2:1 master's degree (MEng) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, where I specialised in Communications and Coding. I have worked with young people previously, volunteering as a Young Leader and, more recently, a Unit Helper in Girlguiding. I was also a reading ‘Super-tutor’ in my school’s reading programme, designed to help Year 7 students boost their confidence and skill in reading, meaning I would step in to cover for any tutors who were absent when they planned to meet with their assigned tutee, and I oversaw the running of the programme as a whole.
