I have taught children with barriers to learning. I really love to teach students online. I'm Randy Miller, a passionate and dedicated mathematics educator committed to making math meaningful and memorable. I design learning experiences that blend interactive activities, real-world applications, and challenging problem-solving — sparking curiosity and building lasting confidence in every student. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy puzzles and chess, hobbies that keep my thinking sharp, strategic, and creative. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical theory, instructional strategies, and classroom management. Throughout my academic journey, I gained valuable experience in designing engaging and standards-aligned lesson plans, assessing student progress through varied formative and summative methods, and adapting my teaching approach to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds. My training has equipped me with the skills to create an inclusive, positive, and well-structured classroom environment where every student feels motivated, confident, and empowered to excel academically and personally.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

I am a current student at Southampton University studying LLB law, with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed.I am enthusiastic,patient and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can build confidence and improve their learning.I am able to teach for all exam boards and see no hindrances in seeking the best education for my students. I currently attend the University of Southampton, studying LLB law.I obtained a grade 9 in my German gcse , grade 9 in English literature gcse and a grade 8 in English language gcse.For my alevels I achieved an A in German , and Bs in both English language and literature however I was utterly close to As , only one mark off in English Language and around 5 in English literature.I have tutored before and have obtained a TEFL.
