Sessions typically involve teaching key content, guided examples, and applying knowledge to exam-style questions specific to the student's exam board and level. I place strong emphasis on exam techniques and confidence, ensuring students understand content and how to apply it. Students typically receive one piece of homework every three weeks (e.g., essays, writing tasks, or worksheets). Exam-year students (Years 11-13) receive up to 2 pieces every 3 weeks to support their progress. All extended tasks come with detailed feedback reports that highlight areas for improvement, assess the student's work relative to their current level, and guide how to reach the next grade or top bands. Higher Education: MA in Philosophy and Psychology - University of Glasgow - Achieved 83% in my first year and am on track for another First-Class result in my second year. - As well as I have taken a course in Archaeology for my first and second years. Further Education: - Achieved straight A*-A grades in English Literature, Sociology, and Psychology. - Completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on gambling motivations. - Self-taught A-Level Business Studies. Volunteering: - Events Coordinator, Glasgow's largest student fundraising initiative, helping to raise over £50,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer. - Volunteered with IntoUniversity, mentoring students for 25+ hours, receiving an award for contribution.

I have actually just sat my A-levels at Trinity Catholic High school where I am predicted A*AA in Mathematics, Chemistry and Psychology.

Hi everyone, my name's Saoban, but you can call me Sao. I’m a medical student whose focus is on Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, but I can teach a range of subjects. My academic background is science-focused, which medicine requires a strong foundation in. I apply this directly in my teaching. Outside of teaching and medicine, I’m interested in fitness, health science, and personal development. I enjoy understanding how the body works and how small improvements compound over time - I find the same principle applies to studying. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Warwick, where I get to apply Maths and Physics to real-world technology every day. As a testament to my academic foundation in STEM, I successfully completed the ESAT during my application cycle, which earned me an interview and a subsequent offer to study Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London, an institution ranked second in the world for engineering.
