Hi, I’m Hassan! I’m a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Bath with a strong academic background in Maths and Physics. I have two years of previous GCSE Maths tutoring experience, working with students from Year 7 to Year 11 across a range of abilities. I’m patient, approachable and enjoy breaking difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps. I tailor my explanations and lesson pace to each student, while using plenty of practice and exam-style questions to develop both understanding and confidence. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades, but become comfortable tackling problems independently. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath and am entering my second year. My degree has a strong focus on mathematics, physics and engineering problem-solving and I achieved 82% (first class) in my first year. At A-level, I achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A in Physics and an A in Chemistry. I also achieved grade 9s in both Mathematics and Physics at GCSE. Alongside my academic studies, I have two years of experience tutoring GCSE Mathematics to students from Year 7 to Year 11, which has helped me develop clear and adaptable ways of explaining mathematical concepts.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs, whether they need support with challenging topics or want to strengthen their understanding. Having studied A-Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry, I have a strong foundation in these subjects and aim to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. BSc Psychology degree holder with over 2 years tutoring experience: During my time studying at university, I gained experience tutoring my peers in psychology - a passion I have been developing since and look forward to sharing with others, particularly at GCSE and A-level. - Content and understanding - Essay writing - Revision - Exam technique - Mark scheme interpretation Sessions are tailored to meet individual needs and requests - I make a plan for each student, making sure my sessions are accessible and enjoyable in a relaxed, friendly environment.
