Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. I focus on breaking down hard topics into simple clear explanations , helping to build understanding, student confidence and also exam technique through practice. I will tailor each lesson based on the students individual needs, ensuring they feel supported and make progress. I am patient, relatable and also very committed in helping students achieve the best of their potential. I studied my GSCEs in Chatham Grammar School, achieving grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics. I then went on to study a levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at Rainham Grammar School, achieving a grade A in Edexcel Mathematics. I am now currently a first year, going onto second year, studying a BSc Mathematics and Physics at University of Bristol

Hi! My name is Anushka Thomas and I am a second year Biomedical Science BSc Student at King's College London. I am specialising in Immunology and Infectious Disease and am particularly interested in drug discovery and public health. I am really passionate about studying and communicating science in a clear and engaging way! Attended Northampton High School (GDST) where I obtained 99998 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English language and Maths. I then went on to complete A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have completed Year 1 of my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science where I studied the following modules: Anatomy, Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Neuroscience, Chemistry and Pharmacology. In my second year I plan to specialise in Immunology and Infectious disease where I will be studying modules such as Cancer Cell Biology, Drug Discovery and Development as well as Medical Microbiology. Having spent the last 5 years undergoing rigorous examinations, university entrances as well as having to grasp vast amounts of difficult scientific content, I believe I am well-equipped to help others in similar positions.

I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.

Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. For A Level, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Accounting and also B in Physics For GCSE, I had 9 GCSEs including 7 A in Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, etc My academic excellence serves as a strong foundation in tutoring as I can explain concepts clearly ensuring students grasp the material effectively.
