Hi I’m Krithi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and explain them in different ways until they make sense. I’m patient, approachable and encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I’m really looking forward to helping students achieve their goals and enjoy their learning journey! I attended Highfields School, where I completed my GCSEs achieving all 7s, 8s and 9s, and subsequently studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, achieving AAA. I am now preparing to begin my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. My main academic specialisations are Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a particular interest in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I am particularly interested in how scientific knowledge can be applied to understand the human body and disease. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting and tutoring younger students, including helping Year 11 students with their GCSE preparation. This has taught me how important it is to adapt explanations to each student's individual needs and learning style. I enjoy breaking challenging topics into smaller, manageable steps and encouraging students to work things out independently rather than simply giving them the answer.

Hello everyone! My name is Scarlett and I love tutoring because I have been able to help lots of students feel confident and independent over their own learning and future. I teach biology and chemistry at both KS3 and KS4 level with no preference as to which. I love to go on long runs and go out with friends when I’m not studying to become a vet. I graduated from a highly selective grammar school achieving 10 grades 8-9 (A*) for GCSE and at IB, the equivalent to 4A* at A-level.
