Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

A junior Finance manager in the NHS.Previously a primary class teacher. I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 8 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Experience of tutoring online and in person therefore able to adapt to students learning. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.

Upcoming Doctor who really enjoys learning and exploring new ideas. I love reading books, especially anything about medicine or how people and society work. When I’m not studying, you’ll usually find me running, going to the gym, knitting, or cooking something new. I also enjoy teaching younger students because I like breaking things down in a simple, fun way. I’m always curious, always asking questions, and I love understanding how things fit together.
